The English Premier League will return this weekend and fans will be very excited that club football is returning after the international break. There’s a lot of reasons to be excited about the reason of Premier League football and most of the people who are going to show excitement are Manchester United fans. That’s because the lot are waiting to finally watch their hero and legend Cristiano Ronaldo as he is yet to feature for them since sealing his return in the summer transfer window. Manchester United’s first fixture after the international break will come against Newcastle United at Old Trafford and one of the things that the Red Devils fans will be looking forward to is seeing Ronaldo in the starting lineup.

United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjaer is keen to secure a big win on Saturday before turning attention to their UEFA Champions League opener on Tuesday next week. The manager is expected to assemble a strong squad of players on Saturday as he looks to secure all maximum points before playing their first game in Europe this new caplmpaign. With United looking for their first English Premier League title since 2013, every league game is important for them and securing a big win over Newcastle is all they will have their sights on at the moment.

Ronaldo is expected to be in the starting lineup and United fans are hoping that Donny van de Beek will also start the match after the player’s agent recently ranted that his client was not getting enough game time at Old Trafford.

Between the sticks, David de Gea is expected to start as Dean Henderson still needs some more time before returning to full fitness. Raphael Varane and Maguire are expected to be the leading central defenders once again.
